Opera direttamente correlata con l'importante dipinto "The Grey Man Dances" come si legge dalla conferma di autenticità via mail a cura di Juerg Judin: "this is an original work from the "Stickmen" series which Grosz started in 1948 (see pp. 212-231 in my book "George Grosz - The Years in America 1933 - 1958", Hatje Cantz 2009). During my research for the book, I came across a copy of the issue of LIVE in which it was illustrated. The drawing is directly related to the important painting "The Grey Man Dances" from 1949 which is still in the Grosz Estate (see page 212-215 in my book)".
