Certificate of authenticity by artist's son Pierre Vasarely with archive no. 2318. Certificate of authenticity by Denise René with archive no. 2318.
Label of Arte Centro Gallery, Milan and label of Art Studio Campaiola, Rome on the reverse. Small loss of color in the upper right corner. Artwork with important provenances. As its title, Gestalt, suggests, the work is a full expression of the great artist's optical art: Gestalt psychology, from the German Gestaltpsychologie, "psychology of form" or perception, is a psychological movement focused on the themes of perception and experience that originated in early 20th-century Germany. The title of this work highlights a key aspect of optical-kinetic research, where the work's form is completed and refined by the viewer's own perception, and only then does it truly take shape, through the active role of the viewer, as an actor and, in part, creator of the work itself! The work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by his son Pierre Vasarely, No. 2318, and also by that of Denise René, who was Victor Vasarely's main international influence. The important provenances of this work are rounded out by the labels of the Galleria d'arte Arte Centro, Milan, and Studio d'Arte Campaiola, Rome, on the back.
