Work to be displayed at the exhibition "Irene and the others: the condition of the female artist in Friuli (16th-20th century) Galleria Civica d'Arte "Celso e Giovanni Costantini", Castions di Zoppola 7 December 2024 - 23 February 2025; requested by the curators for its rarity and representativeness. Exceptional and rare work by Alice Dreossi, probably the most important seen on the market to date. The artist from Cervignano was present at the XIV, XV and XX Venice Biennale and at the Turin Quadrennial in 1927; she held solo exhibitions in Venice (1923, 1953), Udine (1924), Genoa (1934), Treviso (1954). The artist gave her best in landscape painting and portraiture through her great pictorial and chromatic skills. Her works are preserved at the Galleria d'arte moderna in Udine.
