Lot: 52 Title: Senza titolo	Artist: Enrico Ursella (1887-1955) Dimensions: cm 35x50 Technique: Oil on wood panel
Signed bottom right Signs of craquelure. An artwork of remarkable pictorial quality, this oil on wood panel renders a scene of village life with lively immediacy, brought to life by a large group of figures—adults and children—intent on strolling and playing in a tree-shaded square. The painting stands out as a singular example within the artist's production. The presence of such a rich and complex gathering of human figures, which occupies and structures the entire composition, represents a rarity in Ursella's work, as he was more often inclined to interpret the themes of peasant life through solutions of more restrained figurative density.
